Animal Nutrition and Formulas
The feed and nutrition model we have adopted at Chainwin Agriculture & Animal technology features an intelligent management system designed specifically for pigs. It operates by designing precise feed and nutrition formulas for pigs of different breeds, growth period, gender, environments and market demands. These special formulas contain no additives or harmful substances and they are prepared to achieve balanced nutrition to improve the speed of growth for pigs and feed utilization rate with a conscious effort to control nitrogen and potassium contents of animal wastes from the source. At the same time, Chainwin Agriculture & Animal Technology has also adopted modern environmental-controlled barns and peripheral feeding equipment in conjunction with standardized management technologies to achieve the goals of healthy feeding and quality production.
Animal Immunization and Veterinary
Animal immunization at Chainwin Agriculture & Animal Technology is achieved by means of early weaning when maternal antibodies are relatively high among the sow herds before the piglets are infected by the pathogens of the sow herds. Not only that, herds are physically separated during nursery and maturation. Plans for fundamental immunization are fully implemented in the growing stage, with batched production at different stages of maturation and all-in, all-out operations. Based on actual demands, we have also established a stringent bio-security immunization system to implement monitoring, inspection, diagnosis and control for major diseases. By implementing comprehensive immunization programs and animal care systems, we have striven to minimize the risks of diseases.
Breeding Genetics
Selection of the boar breed is achieved through genetic mapping, with ultrasound imaging conducted on living bodies to determine their genetic performance in conjunction with various biotechnological applications for the breeding of quality boars. Not only that, our boars are screened for the porcine stress gene with relevant DNA testing technologies and presently at our Fuchang Cayman Boar Experimental Farm, more than 150,000 boars have been tested. We also carry out mapping and screening for genes for high meat quality, high yield (estrogen receptor gene), anti- E. coli gene and so forth.
Farming Technology System
The modern technologies we have adopted here at Chainwin, including industrialized pig farming, animal vaccination, waste separation, environmental-controlled barns and so forth embody the latest trends and development of the latest technologies in pig farming.
